Important Notes on Personal Gear

At Spring-Haven Canoe Outfitting we endeavor to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. All you need bring is your own personal gear such as toiletries, sleeping bags, cameras, binoculars and clothing. All the rest is supplied.
We carry a full compliment of camping gear that is suited for low impact camping.
Due to the sensitive nature of the Tusket River Valley, small camping groups are preferred.

Some personal equipment you should bring along

Pair of shoes that will allow you to walk in water. i.e.; wet suit boots.
No rubber boots as they will just make you sink that much faster.
3 or 4 pairs of wool socks. Even if they get wet your feet will remain relatively warm.
Lightweight quick dry pants, like nylon track pants
A hat with a wide brim or baseball style hat
Long sleeve shirts (flannel). It can get cool at night even in July.
Sun Screen SPF of 30 or more.
Chapstick
Sun glasses
