Location

Located 16 miles from Yarmouth Nova Scotia in the small community of Quinan,is where you will find Spring-Haven Canoe Outfitting. Yarmouth is in the South Western part of the province of Nova Scotia. One of the four maritime provinces on the Atlantic coast of Canada.

Yarmouth has a regional airport with daily flights from Halifax and is the port of call for two ferries. The CAT, a high speed ferry which sails to Bar Harbor Maine and is run by Bay Ferries. This ferry does the 100 mile crossing in about 2 and a half hours. Reservations can be made at 1-888-249-SAIL (7245). Also, the Scotia Prince which sails to Portland Maine. This is run by Prince of Fundy Cruises. (1-800-341-7540) You can get to Yarmouth from Halifax via Air Nova or by DRL Bus Lines, call for schedule departures at the following number
1-888-263-1854.


On highway 103, take exit #33 at Tusket. Turn right on route 308 north to Quinan which is 9 miles in along a winding road. Just when you think
no-one possibly lives this far in the woods you will come to the small communities of Spring-Haven and then Quinan. Only 6 miles inland from the coast as the crow flies it is still a secluded spot with few travelers.
